The best way to appreciate this magical scene is from a boat, cruising between these karats cliffs, which loom like fairy-tale castles, complete with rocky spires and hidden caves. The bay is dotted with tiny islands, pristine sandbanks on the turquoise water providing an excellent backdrop for swimming or just lazing about on the junk boat.

Thien Cung Cave: Thien Cung Cave or the Cave of Heavenly Palace is on the same island with Dau Go Cave. While Dau Go Cave boasts the mossy beauty and glorious history, Thien Cung Cave makes the visitors the impression of being in a heavenly world.

Dau Go Cave: Dau Go Cave (the Cave of Wooden Stakes) is 7km or 30 minutes boat trip from the shore. Dau Go Cave is believed to have been the place where General Tran Hung Dao hid weapons in the war against the invaders in the 13th century A.D. Dau Go Cave is one of the biggest caves of Halong Bay. The cave offers stunning stalactites and stalagmites.

Sung Sot Cave: Sung Sot Cave (The Cave of Amazement) is one of the biggest caves of Halong Bay, 3 hours\' boat cruise from the shore. The cave is over 500m in length and divided into different sections.

Ha Long Bay, located in the Gulf of Tonkin, covers an area of 1500 square km. With more than a thousand limestone peaks soaring from its crystalline emerald water this area is one of the natural wonders of Vietnam and now one of four World Heritage listed sites in Vietnam. Visitors have constantly marveled at Halong Bay natural beauty. The tiny islands are dotted with innumerable beaches and grottoes created by the wind and the waves that make a excellent backdrop for swimming or just lazing about on the boat deck.

Halong Bay tour itinerary:

AM: Our tour bus and guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi around 08:00 AM to transfer to Ha Long Bay. On the way, you will have chance to see the beautiful landscape of Red River Delta. Have a short break of 20 minutes for relaxing, continue drive to Halong bay.

PM: Arrivel Halong Bay and get on the traditional junk in Ha Long Bay. You will have lunch on junk while cruise the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape, including the bay’s most famous sights: Fighting Cock, Dog and Incense Burner Rocks.
Later, we will visit the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay and stop at a floating house for kayaking – the best way to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of Ha Long Bay. Return to Halong City then transfer to Hanoi. The trip ends around 07:30 PM at your hotel in Hanoi.
