Dalat islocated in Lam Dong province, approximately 200 km northeast of Ho ChiMinh City. At an elevation of 1,500 m, Dalat bearsthe look of an Old French city. It was founded in 1897 when Doctor AlexandreYersin recommended that the area be developed as a resort town.
Nha Trangis Vietnam\'sbeach resort town. A major face-lift in 1995-96, and the opening of two upscalehotels later in 1996, vaulted Nha Trangonto the playing field with places like Phuket, Thailand, and Cancun, Mexico.
Another Vietnam\'s best beachresort in Vietnam, Mui Ne,which is found on Highway No. 706, and features sweeping sand dunes andbeautiful rows of palm-trees. The beach is shallow and sloped, the water is clean and blue and the sun rarelyhides behind clouds.

The MekongDelta is the bottom half of Vietnam\'s two rice baskets (theother being the Red River Delta in the North).This vast delta is formed by thedeposition of the multiple tentacles and tributaries of the mighty MekongRiver which has its origin in the Tibetan highland plateau 2,800 miles away.
One of the best beach resort of Vietnam is PhuQuoc Island, which covers an area of 567sq.km (about 62km long and between3km and 28km wide), and its population is approximately 85,000 (in 2001).
